FUSION 360: 3D INITIALS
This week we used FUSION 360 again - this time to create a 3D model of our Initials.
I used the letters: R, A and P as I do not have a middle name. RivkA Parij
We started out by creating 'sketches' of the 3 letters and then used the loft tool to connect them into one solid shape. Next, we used the Shell tool to hollow out the middle.
We then applied different textures to the finished object. I chose tp have mirror on the exterior, as it reflected my chosen environment setting of the plaza and played with the lights and shapes of its surroundings. Since the reflections of the plaza had a little tinge of red, I matched this internally with some red granite that picked up on this colour. I then chose to add an element of contrast in the form of a blue denim stripe that stood out against the other materials.
